The world of bidding isn’t always easy. It can be intense, demanding, and make you want to tear your hair out.
But, there is so much more to love than hate in the world of bidding. As Valentine’s day approaches, we’re reminding ourselves of what we love about the world of bids.
-
Creating new ideas. Bids are opportunities to create change. To think differently and uncover ideas that really make a difference. We love finding smarter ways of doing things – the ideas that make organisations better and set them aside from the competition.
-
Bringing calm to chaos. Bids can be chaotic. We love bringing structure, getting everything under control and organised to make bidding easier.
-
Finding the edge. Uncovering a key insight or drawing out a real point of difference makes it all worthwhile.
-
Team spirit. Bids are often intense, short windows where everyone pulls together. We love the camaraderie and the friendships formed from the shared focus and battle scars of a bid.
-
The afterglow and calm after the bid. After the busyness of the bid, the calm after the storm of bidding is always welcome.
-
Winning. I mean who doesn’t love that? As we always say ‘It’s not the taking part that counts’.
Next time you come across another bid frustration, take a moment and remind yourself of the things you love about bidding.
PS. Happy Valentine’s Day.
Sending love and thanks to our clients and collaborators – we’re very lucky to work with such amazing people.
