Take time for a mindful tea break (or coffee if that’s your cup of tea)

In the busyness of work, a world that rewards speed and constant availability and many of us working from home, taking a break can feel like a luxury or even rebellious.

5 minutes is often all it takes to reset your mind and refocus.

Enter the mindful tea break. This isn’t about grabbing a cup and rushing back to your screen multitasking your way through emails. It’s about turning a simple, everyday habit into a small, grounding ritual.

Slow it down. Pause before the first sip, notice the warmth of the cup in your hands, notice the contrast. As you drink, notice the smell, the taste, the sounds around you as you drink. Be curious, not rushed.

Take time to settle rather than chase your thoughts. Be present. Take permission to pause.

Next time you reach for coffee, don’t just drink it.

Experience it. Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is stop.
