The Summer Exhibition, the art of creating and bidding
Summer may be over, but we are still inspired by a visit to the Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy in August. Full of creativity, humour and passion the exhibition featured over 1700 artworks, selected from over 16,500 applications. A little like bidding, not everyone wins. But, in those that made it to the gallery walls, we were reminded of the variety of ways to stand out and the time and effort that goes into creating.
Creating art is a bit like creating bids. We need to keep creating, keep bidding and keep practicing to find the magic.
