The challenge is to recognize that bidding isn’t an
administrative burden but an engine for growth.
So many organizations fail to see this. Bidding is where the magic happens. No other business activity requires you to constantly iterate and adapt to keep delivering value to your customers. It is the enemy of complacency and entitlement. Bidding rewards bravery, ideas and invention. Once we recognized this ourselves (it took a while), it was the start of a long love affair, and for our people this was the beginning of a career to be proud of.
